Connect the threaded end of the measurement pipeline to the switch connector and tighten it with a wrench; then close the needle valve at the other end of the measurement pipeline. Next, insert one end of the quick-connect fitting on the measurement pipeline into the instrument's air inlet; insert one end of the exhaust pipeline into the exhaust port located on the back of the instrument, and place the other end into the trench or outside the window. Finally, connect the switch connector to the SF6 electrical equipment's measurement interface and tighten it with a wrench. Turn on the instrument's power switch to initiate the initialization self-calibration process; once the calibration is complete, the instrument will automatically switch to the measurement page. Battery Level Check: This device is designed to operate primarily using DC power. When using DC power, please check the battery level displayed in the top-right corner; if the battery indicator turns red, turn off the device, charge it, and then continue using it. Begin measuring by fully opening the flow control valve on the dew point meter's front panel; then, by adjusting the needle valve on the measurement pipeline, gradually set the flow rate to approximately 0.5 L/min and commence measuring the SF6 dew point. The initial measurement for one device takes 5–10 minutes; for each subsequent device, it takes 3–5 minutes. Once the data measurement is complete, the data can be saved in the instrument; press the "OK" button to display the operation menu – for detailed instructions, please refer to the section below. After completing measurements on one device, close the needle valve on the measurement pipeline. Remove the switch connector along with the measurement pipeline from the SF6 electrical equipment. If you need to continue measuring another device, do not turn off the instrument's power; follow the above steps to proceed with measuring the next device. After all measurements are completed, turn off the instrument's power supply.
