SF6 Decomposition Product Tester
1.Connect the threaded end of the measurement pipeline to the switch connector and tighten it with a wrench; then close the needle valve at the other end of the measurement pipeline. Next, insert one end of the quick-connect fitting on the test pipeline into the sampling port on the tester; connect the exhaust pipeline to the exhaust port; finally, connect the switch connector to the SF6 electrical equipment's measurement interface and tighten it with a wrench.
2. Turn on the instrument's power switch; the instrument will then enter the initialization self-calibration process.
3. Check power supply: This instrument is recommended to be operated primarily using alternating current (AC).
When using DC power, please check the battery level displayed in the top-right corner. If the battery level is below approximately 30%, turn off the device, charge it, and then continue using it.
4. After completing the initialization self-calibration, the measuring instrument automatically enters the measurement mode (pressing the "Return" key switches you back to the main menu; pressing any function icon on the menu opens the corresponding interface). At this point, open the flow valve on the front panel of the tester, then adjust the flow rate to 0.2 LPM by manipulating the needle valve on the measurement pipeline.
5. After completing the data measurement, you can save the data in the instrument; press the "OK" button to access the operation menu – for detailed instructions, please refer to the section below.
6. After completing the measurement, close the needle valve on the measurement pipeline and the adjustment valve on the testing instrument.
Remove the adapter from the SF6 electrical equipment. If you need to perform measurements on other equipment, do not turn off the instrument's power; proceed with the next measurement according to the steps outlined above.
7. After completing the measurement, turn off the tester's power supply.
