The integrated onboard power supply eliminates the need for an external secondary power source, making it convenient and quick to use. It provides an adjustable DC power supply ranging from 20–270 V with a current capacity of 20 A. The device features a short-circuit protection function: in the event of a short circuit, the voltage and current output will cease within 1 ms, and a beeping alarm will be triggered to prompt the operator to inspect the circuit. The unique dual-circuit power supply design ensures that if one circuit in the closing or opening control circuit fails, the other circuit can still be used to test the closing and opening operations. Equipped with a linear sensor and a rotary sensor, along with a dedicated fixed multi-function connector, the installation is extremely convenient and straightforward. The linear sensor can be configured for any length between 30–1000 mm; simply attach the sensor – no factory return or program reprogramming is required for the instrument. The host can store up to 100 sets of real-time test data; it features an internal real-time clock, facilitating data archiving. Equipped with a USB port and an RS-232 port, data can be saved to a USB flash drive and then uploaded to a computer for analysis, saving, or printing; the RS-232 port supports direct connection to a computer for online operation (optional feature). The internal anti-interference circuit ensures reliable operation within 500 kV substations.
