Acoustic-Magnetic Digital Display Synchronous Fixed-Point Instrument

1.The use of acoustically vibrating sensors with specialized structural designs, combined with low-noise dedicated components as pre-amplifiers, significantly enhances the sensitivity of the instrument for fixed-point detection and path tracing. In terms of signal processing technology, the digital display of the distance between the fault location and the sensing probe greatly eliminates the uncertainty associated with fixed-point detection. 2.For faulty cables installed overhead within cable trenches, during traditional fault localization procedures, the vibration noise generated by the entire cable rendered conventional fault localization devices ineffective, making it impossible to accurately determine the exact location of a closed-circuit fault. Today, simply by placing the sensor probe of this instrument in contact with the faulty cable or a nearby cable, the system can precisely display the fault distance and direction, enabling rapid and effortless determination of the fault location. 3.The power-frequency adaptive cancellation theory and high-power-frequency notch filtering technology significantly enhance the suppression and interference resistance capabilities for 50 Hz power-frequency signals in environments with strong power-frequency electric fields, thereby reducing the fixed-point blind zone. In terms of instrument functionality, the use of acoustic-electrical synchronous reception and display technology effectively overcomes the challenges associated with fixed-point localization caused by ambient noise interference at the field site. In particular, the digital display of fault distance eliminates the need for operators to manually analyze and interpret complex waveforms, effectively replacing the rough-distance measurement function of traditional flash-distance-measuring instruments. For fault cables spanning several hundred meters, fixed-point localization can be performed without relying on rough-distance measurement, achieving truly efficient, rapid, and accurate fault detection. The application of 15 kHz amplitude-modulated electromagnetic waves combined with amplitude detection technology for path tracing and cable burial depth measurement prevents interference from the television line frequency on the fixed-point locator, which was a common issue when using conventional constant-amplitude 15 kHz signal sources. 4.The operation is extremely simple – simply turn on the power switch; no gear shifting or function selection is required. Its compact, small, and modular design makes it easy to carry and maintain, while offering powerful functionality.
